N. nambi Fungal Luciferase V49A d33
Coding sequence for the fungal luciferase enzyme from Neonothopanus nambi with a V49A mutation and a deletion of 33 N-terminal amino acids. Beregovaya et al. (2021) found that a V49A mutation in the luciferase gene results in a significant increase in the luminescence of engineered P. pastoris cultures. Additionally, they determined that deletions of up to 37 N-terminal amino acids does not result in a loss of enzyme function, as the N-terminal possesses a transmembrane domain.
